Phillybond Orange is a two-component epoxy paste, developed for liquid-tight sealing of Chockfast Orange castings in stern tube applications or installations in contact with liquid.
Description and application
Phillybond Orange is impervious to seawater and lubricants, has good adhesive strength and remains flexible over a wide temperature range. Due to its firm, paste-like consistency, Phillybond Orange can be used in wide, vertical applications without sagging. Nevertheless, the paste is easy to spread and gives a nice, smooth finish. The product is ideal for sealing any type of seam that is subject to mechanical and thermal expansion and/or contraction. It adheres extremely well to materials such as steel, copper and other synthetic resins.
