Phillyclad 8 is a fast-curing epoxy resin, specially developed for high-quality fibreglass-reinforced repairs (‘winding’). It is used for piping, tanks, valves and other components that are subject to corrosion and/or erosion.
Description and application
Phillyclad 8 has very high temperature resistance (up to 220 °C) and is resistant to salt water, crude and refined oil, petrol, and most corrosive substances and acids. When combined with four layers of glass fibre cloth, Phillyclad 8 resists a hydrostatic pressure of 7 N/mm2 after curing for one hour.
