ITW Repair Compound is a two-component epoxy paste designed for filling, smoothing and fairing of metal, plastic and wooden surfaces.
Description and application
The very smooth, even consistency in combination with a firm paste-like form makes this product ideal for smoothing plating, fairing shapes and smoothing welds. Repair Compound is the ideal product for pre-finish preparation of hulls, tanks, deck plates, pump housings, sonar domes and more. Any top coating or covering can be applied over the smooth surface after application of Repair Compound. As Repair Compound does not contain any metal particles, it is also very suitable for fairings around sensitive electrical equipment.
Non-toxic
Repair Compound is non-toxic and contains no solvents. It has excellent resistance to tap water, sea water, crude and refined oils, petrol, kerosene and many other substances.
